Qeld timeline
Like many of our customers, Qeld has experienced significant growth. What started as a simple idea has now grown into a bank with activities in 7 European countries.
2026
Qeld/Qred has been featured on the FT1000 list for the sixth time. In addition, Qred Bank has now supported over 70,000 businesses, which create 20 jobs every day – day in, day out.
2023-2024
It all starts in Stockholm with one big mission: to provide small businesses with a banking experience that really works. Qred Bank AB, our parent company, starts on the Swedish market. The next step is expanding to Finland with the opening of an office in Helsinki.
2021-2022
Our expansion continues with Denmark, where we're bringing a breath of fresh air to the world of business finance. Not much later, the Netherlands follows, where we launch our services under the name Qeld, part of Qred Bank AB.
2019-2020
We continue our growth in Europe by starting in Belgium.
2017-2018
We're introducing our business credit card, Qred VISA, in Finland and Sweden. During this period, we are also expanding to Norway to support entrepreneurs with flexible business loans.
2023—2024
Qeld, part of Qred Bank AB, officially becomes a bank with the approval of a banking license. We are starting savings accounts in Sweden and taking our first steps into the German market with both business loans and savings accounts.

Qred Bank heeft een bankvergunning en staat onder toezicht van de Finansinspektionen. Dit betekent dat Qeld zich aan precies dezelfde wetten en regels houdt als andere banken, terwijl we de snelheid en eenvoud van onze fintech-achtergrond behouden.

Qeld, onderdeel van Qred Bank, richt zich op kleine en middelgrote ondernemingen. Daarom hebben zakelijke leningen altijd de kern van onze activiteiten gevormd.
Qeld realiseerde zich vervolgens dat er behoefte was aan een zakelijke kaart voor de kleinere, dagelijkse uitgaven. Daarom werd Qeld VISA gelanceerd.
Voor particulieren biedt Qred Bank spaarrekeningen aan in Zweden en Duitsland met twee verschillende formules: flexibel en vast.
Waarom is Qeld opgericht?
Qeld is opgericht omdat onze oprichters zagen dat kleine bedrijven vaak moeite hadden om snel en eenvoudig financiering te krijgen bij traditionele banken. Het doel was om een betere bankervaring te creëren voor ondernemers en kleine bedrijven.
